Gallagher has always been a pain in the ass, but he’s never done anything like this before. This hit looked like intent to injure. Against a player who’s had concussion issues. This is a Matt Cooke type of hit. He shoulda got more than 5 games. First suspension saved him.
From montreal fan here.. that’s disgusting and hope gallagher gonna get big fine and also face the consequences on the ice afterwards which he’s probably gonna turtle or run away.
An argument for criminal charges could be made. that was dangerous and malicious.
I like Gallagher but the speed involved here…that could have been it for Pellech. Fuck 10 games give Gallagher the rest of the season off and a steep fine.
