  1. please do timestamps for topics. love the videos but that would just make them ever better

  2. That's ridiculous considering Makar and several other players from the 2018 squad didn't even attend the party where the alleged incident occurred. I get that they are taking the situation seriously but this is just overkill LMAO

  3. If he has an alibi then naturally he isnt being charged. Then naturally this shouldnt impact him. Thats a bit much.

The guys being charged or who may have to be witnesses (which could be why when proceeding start if some other guys have to testify depending when court dates are…..trials can take a lot of time.) But if makar was literally not with the team at the time if hes got rock solid alibi that he wasnt anywhere near this….heinous mess than he certainly isnt a useful witness. So not sure what the issue there would be.

  4. I am questioning what info was released to the police. If it came out that most if not all people on the team knew about any details no matter what small and stayed quiet?

  5. Yes I agree that everyone should be suspended from the team. Someone in that team must come forward and say something about that incident. You have to trust your team on and off the ice. It was a good call ….imo

  6. This is one thing that would not happen down this side of the border… If USA Hockey did that and blanket suspended an entire team for the actions of a few… the lawsuits would fly and USA Hockey would literally have no defence… Makar is really the only one affected here mostly because Olympics level stuff has so much competition.. but you do still have chances for coaches and such… just the false accusation charge alone would probably bankrupt them. Not sure how the legal system would treat that north of the border… But I’ve seen people get very rich for a hell of a lot less in simiilar situations down here.

  7. My understanding was that no players would cooperate with the original investigation. There were likely group chats or knowledge of the incident spoken between players yet no player would talk to hockey canada. Thats why they are all being suspended. Love to se the nhl investigation. Players aint gonna risk their contracts/carreers over it.

  8. DJ Smith wasn't cutting it for us when we started to be competitive, but I think the entire Sens fanbase (or at least the majority) knew a team was going to hire him. Good for him
