Does anyone else notice that every other team clears the puck when they’re under pressure, but Keefe likes to keep possession which leads to our D getting fucking destroyed on the forecheck?
Schenn literally came to this team and said we needed to play more simple, was our 2nd best D in the playoffs, and left.
Losing the game off a goal with 2 mins left to Engvall is just about the worst way I think we could have lost that game.
We might not even make playoffs at this rate

I just want to say with every game I love Benoit more and more.
Edmonton fires their coach and wins 100 million games in a row. It’s not even about Keefe at this point, the team just needs a shakeup.

The Islanders broadcast showed Cal Clutterbuck taking a cheap shot on Tavares at the end there, and then when Tavares gets mauled all that happened to Clutterbuck was Matthews whispering in his ear. I wish they would stick up for each other

My opinion (which I know is worth dick), you stand pat and don’t really sell or buy at the deadline. The team isn’t bad enough to ship everything out but they aren’t playing well enough to send out a Minten, Cowan, or draft picks.

This year is a bust. Not sure how you fix the team with these contracts but it’s so obvious they’ve take a big step backwards .. not a consistent stretch of good hockey yet.
They either miss the playoffs or scratch and claw their way in as a a wildcard. Both options will bring about change to the way this team is constructed going forward
