  1. Sully is a bore and arrogant. The organization sided with him over JR and you’re now seeing the results.

  2. The Penguins have played 46 games so far and 3 of the teams ahead of them in the Metropolitan have played 50 games, that’s a chance to get 8 points back and jump in the standings, but you have to win!

  3. Ehh. You go into about how a coach goes to Dallas and gets them to do this, and then he goes to Winnipeg and gets them to do that, and then when the idea of changing coaches for the Penguins arises , it's no, he 's a good coach, it's on the players. So why bring up Bowness in the first place? I'll keep saying it as much as you keep saying Defend Defend Defend, it's not about whether Sullivan is a good coach or not, it's about needing a new voice, because obviously the players aren't 'buying in", or this wouldn't even be a topic of discussion In February, with them still two spots out of the playoffs, and a season after they missed them entirely.

  4. DK, what is the head coach's job, in addition to making up the game plan? Is it not to recognize strengths and weaknesses of his players and meld them together to make a winning team? How many good players have come here from other teams only to fail? Karlsson may be the next example. It IS Sullivan's job to find out why and debug it. Why is the PP so PP(Piss Poor)? Sully STILL hasn't figured that one out. He definitely hasn't impressed this season so far, and if it doesn't turn around he should do the honorable thing and head for the door.

  5. Rick Bowness is an NHL lifer. Has had failures in the past and most recently some notable success. He is 69 years old and finally has a quality team that may make some noise, so good for him.
