I remember a few people telling me how great a defensive shut down forward he was….and how many blocked shots he had. And that he probably wouldn’t clear waivers. Now he is gone. Never to play another NHL game…kind of think this means our GM doesn’t know what he is doing and nor does most of this fanbase.
Next is wheeler. Send that bum packing next. Cannot wait for the arguments from trolls on here to say Wheeler is a good player!
Drury should be fired no matter what happens this season. I tired of the excuses. He has had 2 years and some change to fill the hole he made by trading Buchnevich for nothing. Are we waiting for 8 years till we fire this bozo like the last one? Can we get a GM that actually has experience and a proven track record? What do you think it would cost to get Zito here from Florida? How much salary to get him on board? Is it less than what we pay Mika? Then he should be here we are 1 of the most wealthy franchises in the league. I am tired of the excuses. 40 years of almosts and we could have. Let’s get the right guy and lets do it now.
