A recent interview on a Russian media sports outlet was done with New York Rangers top prospect Vitali Kravtsov, and oddly enough the interview highlighted a trade idea that would send the 2018 NHL Entry Draft 1st round pick to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Kravtsov didn’t expand on the idea, but the mere existence of the question has sparked major discussion.

  1. The trade was for deangelo vitaly was in the mix. But they just asked if he was available. Pittsburgh has nothing we need no center prospects. Doesnt seem likes its going to happen

  2. Stranger things have happened and does happen every season so not worried about this until it’s confirmed or not… no reason to worry about hypotheticals

  3. If they trade him I’m going to storm Jeff gortan and ask wtf is wrong with you. Honestly I think David Quinn only likes a certain player when it comes to the team he coaches. I think he may be the problem.

  4. They arent gonna trade him 😂 . Theres only rumors out because the rangers are stacked on rw . If anything buch would be a trade piece definitely not kratsov, the rangers know how much skill and potential he has.

  5. As a pens fan, Kravtsov doesn’t look really to the pens. GMJR is mostly looking at winning in the playoffs and in the regular season, not building for the future. Which is really shown with some of our recent trades of our top prospects. I would love to see him come here, but we don’t have much to trade with either. We have center depth, yes, but we don’t have a first rounder until 2022.

  7. The Pens have nothing to offer. If they wanna unload Malkin or Crosby and take on a bad contract of ours to make it happen sure otherwise we’re not helping them win another cup.

  8. This is just a ridiculous rumor! The fact that anyone is actually giving this one ink or airtime is astounding. There's no way in hell that the Rangers trade Kravtsov before seeing him play an actual NHL game!!!! They're smarter than that! Lias Anderson was ABSOLUTELY a bust! The kid just didn't get it. Doesn't make him a bad hockey player. But he's not an NHL caliber player, that's for damn sure! Kravtsov will be given a long look once they feel he'd ready to go for it.

  9. I believe he's fine because at the end of KHL season which is February BTW, the Broadway Blue Shirts has every intention of bringing them back which will probably be in the middle of the New York Rangers season

  10. You produce good content but keep you videos short. Maybe around 5 mins or so cuz the opening takes too long and from middle on its seems repetitive. Like I said you make good content but pls keep them short

  11. Well, don't the rangers ever do anything right. All these top draft picks, etc etc. They don't have a system or leadership on or off the ice to win. They consistently get 5 11 , 180 pd soft players. And oh, jack Johnson acquisition, that funny. What's he 45 yrs old. DeAngelo is a tiny man. No defense , no chance. No toughness , no chance. Does it look like finesse teams every win championships. That's why i stopped watching the Rangers. A lifetime of stupidity in this organization. Except when they had a team full of Edmonton oiler's

  12. Pens just do not have anything in their farm system left or anymore picks to give for this year or next year and they can keep post surgery Jake Guentzel or similar players that they need to make another cup run no thanks as a Ranger fan we will pass on this one.

  13. So…. I think Kravtsov looks like a terrific prospect. But the Rangers are STACKED on the wing and with D prospects. With Kakko, Lafreniere, Kreider, Panarin, Bucnnevic and Chytl, Kravtsov is completely expendable. If they could get a solid 2C for him I would do it in a second. In fact, Kravtsov and 1 out of there numerous top D prospects (just not Miller, Lundqvist or Schneider), they could get a seriously good Center in a deal. And there is no room for KRavtsov unless he makes HUGE jumps in readiness. I fully expect Kravtsov to eventually get traded, probably before he makes his Rangers debut. And if that trade is for the right player, I am fully ok with it. I was hoping they would be able to get PLD with a package of Kravtsov, Robertson and maybe Strome. That would have been totally ok with me. But maybe we can like, get someone like Turcotte for Kravtsov and a pick or Kravtsov and Reunanen for Turcotte or maybe even Vilardi? Well, something like that. I say move him now before he signs a long term KHL contract.

  14. Um, Eastern European media is absolutely confrontational and without tact. They are ruthless and brutal in their search for a headline. They will often say things just to instigate a reaction. And as much as they do that in general, in regard to sports like hockey or futball, it's even more ruthless. Either way, I do hope the Rangers trade him soon. They need a center.
