My wet dream is we somehow got ahold of Karlsson for this years WC. We already have Hedman confirmed, and Karlsson would be icing on the glorious cake. I know it is unlikely even if Ottawa loses this series, but one can dream.
It just gets better with age. Karlsson and Brassard were at each other's throats on the bench. Karlsson turned it into something productive. Just an awesome; brief but fiery storyline that played out thru the span of one hockey game.

What makes him special is his skating. No other Dman in the league moves like he does. Hes like a cheetah.. Fast and agile as hell.
When Karlsson was skating around just before that goal I was like: "OMG what are you doing"–then my jaw just dropped in silence.

As a Fin it pains me to admit it but Erik Karlsson is my favorite player. He is something else as a defenseman.
