    How about someone 10 feet away on the bench let’s the guys know the powerplay is ending. We all know everyone on the ice get caught puck watching but I guess everyone on the bench does as well

    They're 17th in the league in 5v5 xG%. The 3 years prior they were top 4 in the NHL. Still talking about the process being good…??? How?

    Must be rough for these players the fans want to win cups MLSE and the core just want cheques. Players know thier team sucks but what can you do.

    Leafs have one playoff victory in the Marner/Matthews era. That is really bad. They had opportunities to win more, including the Montreal series and one if not two of the Boston series. Last spring's victory over TB, while a hard fought series, cemented this idea that the Leafs can come back and score their way to victory. This season has really exposed them and this flawed idea of offence over defense/goaltending. And this season has also exposed how much the previous GM has hurt the current team. It ain't over, but the team has really worked hard to lose games this year.

    Pull the trigger, bring in two real D men and two real depth players that can SCORE/go on PK/2PP.

    If Marner is the price then that really sucks but I just don't see winning when the Leafs can't clear net front and can't find a SV% over 900.

    I LOVE MARNER AND WHEN HE IS FLYING OUT THERE, HE IS ONE OF THE BEST! ON THIS LEAFS TEAM, A PLAYER LIKE HIM ISN'T WORTH THE CAP IT TAKES UP. Marner is kind of a cheeky player, big skill, big IQ, all that…I don't feel he is DOMINANT, guys like Mathews and McDavid are – even Nylander establishes himself as dominant more often. Marner thrives with pace and space and as that tightens what he brings to the table is about cut in half.

    Would you trade Marner, liligren, Robertson, and Samsonov to a team that you can "gut" and get like two solid Ds, two solid FWDs, and a Goalie that's older but not too old and has a history of .910SV% or better? (Nashville??) How much of a downgrade is Forsberg on Mathews wing compared to MARNER???? Then with the second potential FWD you can retool the 2nd or third line.

    Bring in a solid pair that can fit the 2 and 4 hole on D (upgrading here would make them instantly a cup favorite)

    Get a goalie!!! I don't know the maths but I wonder what the record would be if you adjusted SAMMYS goals against to reflect a better SV%? Like lets say we plug in a .910 average on the season, are Leafs in first place? lol I dunno..Goalies save pucks and need a good SV%, what happens in front of them is what happens anywhere they go….SAVE THE PUCK.

    If you don't want to spend that cap space elsewhere (aka move a 10m+ player) then the coach has to change (period).

    STOP MISSING OUT ON THIS SEASON I SWEAR TO GOD IF LEAFS BRASS SETTLE FOR GOING FOR IT NEXT YEAR LOL. THE LEAFS HAVE BEEN GOING FOR IT NEXT YEAR AND COLLECTING PROFITS FOR 57 years.

    BRING TORONTO A CUP! DO WHATEVER IT TAKES, YOU'LL NEVER GET AN AUSTON MATHEWS AGAIN FOR ANOTHER 100 YEARS!
