Jason Dickinson joins Nick Foligno by signing an extension with the Chicago Blackhawks. Dickinson who’s having a career year, exclaimed that he wanted to stay long-term with the Blackhawks and the feelings were mutual as Kyle Davidson said that he would target players like Dickinson if he were available in free agency. Dickinson will have a leadership role with the Blackhawks being one of the veterans on this team who is here to stay.

    No shocker that Foligno & Dickinson both are only 2 years and both expire the same season that Bedard will be an RFA and looking for his first deal after his rookie elc. It’s a smart move on Davidson’s part.

    Soderblom is due for a breakout year next year, and teams usually have a “regret-goalie-signing” to take off their hands for a price. I’m not extending Mrazek.

    Meh he's OK.. they need to hit a cap floor. Let's not forget he's 28 years old. Maybe flipped next season. Hawks got to be careful. Aftet 2 years Bedard will get a lock up mega deal. And there will be some tasty free agents. Murphy also thankfully comes off the books after 2 more seasons. Time to start going young. Don't mind a couple vets. Would not mind Zegras either. If it's true the Ducks want rid of him. Probably would take Richael and Tampas pick.I don't want anyone on this team that was a Bowman pick. He got lucky on a couple Defensiveman. Maybe.
