  1. Dude honestly that guy may be stupid and may only have 1 follower, but at least he doesn't have that ugly, disgusting horse tooth smile/laugh. Seriously though that smile is so disgusting I think you'd be better with no teeth than whatever you go going on now.

  2. Who cares, the Oilers will win every game from now until they lift the cup so none of this really matters. I need to go take a pill now

  3. People seem to be missing the point of this trade…..It is a clear sign that Florida is gonna buyout Riemer and go after Bobrovsky and Panarin to go all in next season. They just cleared 5 million dollars in cap for next season plus the contract of brassard since they will likely not sign him. Plus getting 3 draft picks was a no brainer for the Panthers and as for the Penguins they got 2 decent young players that could either be trade assets or young core players for the future.

  4. I like this trade as a Penguins fan. Both Nick Bjugstad and Jared McCann give The Penguins something they lacked. Bjugstad can play a top 6 role and brings that physical presence at the forward position that The Penguins lacked and McCann will fill the role as the third line center and really help out the bottom 6.

Plus The Penguins didn't really give up much. You trade away Brassard, who was an unrestricted free agent after the season and probably wasn't going to resign and trade Riley Sheahan who did provide some value on the fourth line, but other guys can fill that spot. The Penguins didn't give up any future prospects or their first round pick, which is huge. Plus Bjugstad is still under contract which is a plus also.

  5. Derick Brassard wanted to play at top 6 role, well he will get to do that with The Florida Panthers.

  6. Right now, I am liking the trade for the Penguins. I watched Derick Brassard in his prime for the Rangers, he was truly a talented centreman scoring big goals & showing great puck control. Sadly for him, things didn’t work out with the Penguins, I wish him luck wherever he goes. As for Sheahan, solid bottom six two way player who kills penalties & is physical. However, I am excited to see these two players get the opportunity to thrive in the Penguins’ system. If it works out, the rest of the league better watch out because the Penguins have a very complete and balanced team when healthy.

  7. It’s crazy to think that Florida could be a power house in the league if they had 2 things.

    1. A starting goalie
    2 more depth on defence

There offensive is so strong : barkov, hub, hoffmen, trotchek and they HAD. Marcheese ( not his name fools lol) and smith.
    That’s a nasty top 9
And there defence isn’t that bad either

And 100% they are clearing for bob, they need the goalie

  8. if im gonna be honest the hockey guy blows everybody working for sports net outta the water lmfao (especially Burke)

  9. If Bjugstad can fit in pretty well on the 3rd line, score in the 15+ and 40 point range, AND play solid defense this trade will be good. He's been inconsistent and struggled a good bit. Hoping the Pens can bring him to life!
I don't know much about Mccann.
He's 22, a former 1st rounder, and has very good potential as a quality bottom 6 guy. Hopefully a step up from Sheahan but we'll see.
I still think we should got more for Oleksiak other than the exact same 4th rd pick we traded to get him. He's improved and I think he was worth more..
We essentially traded Brassard, Sheahan, Oleksiak, a 2nd rd pick, and a 4th rd pick for Bjugstad and McCann. It's even worse when you factor what we gave up to get Brassard too. Here's to hoping both Bjugstad and Mccann do very well here!

  10. I was at the Pens game tonight. Bjugstad and McCann were flown in and arrived right before the game started. They shared and chugged an energy drink right before the puck dropped.
