Definitely was not expecting 3 games. I’m not gonna complain about it though. Awful hit. It would be nice if this was the standard going forward for DoPS, we’ve seen way worse hits go unpunished…

As for the Jets, is it finally Ville time???

For fucks sakes, that is an egregious amount of games

  3. FrogOnTheFloor757

Should’ve been 1 game at most. What a BS decision

Are we sure it wasn’t the DOPS that got clipped in the head?

This is basically a 4 game suspension if you count the match penalty assessed in the first period. The Gallagher headshot got 5 (Match was assessed in the third period).

Only DOPS, lead by a former team mate of Gallagher btw, thinks these hits are anything close to on par from a disciplinary perspective. I don’t think it’s a stretch to think there is at least some bias involved when DOPS makes its decisions.

Every single fanbase would agree that DOPS is inconsistent at best. Idk why the owners and NHLPA arnt making more noise.

4 games missed because he’s 8 inches taller. Fuck this league.

Good thing we waived Chisholm and refuse to call up Heionla because now we get 3 Ls with Logan fricken Stanley.

    While I don’t disagree with a suspension…

It’s almost 4 games, since he got the match in the game. Garbage ruling by a garbage organization.

Parros can lick cow taint, but no cow deserves that fate from that scumbag fuck.

Everyone dogs on nhl player safety for being too harsh then they actually give a suspension and suddenly it’s way too much and over the top. 3 games is how they stop these hits from happening. 3 games isn’t that much

Setting a precedents for coming over the blue line with your head down..

  11. heisen204berg

Was he supposed to just let him skate into his zone with his head down?

  12. fdisfragameosoldiers

That’s horse shit. Hartman gets fined for deliberately slashing Perfetti in the face and Strome only got 2 games for deliberately taking KFC’s knee out.

On the bright side can we call up Heinola for a few games?

Wow. 3 games seems rough. I can see 2. But this is basically a 4 game suspension.
