Flyers went 4-0 against Ottawa that season outscoring them 18-11.
Where the hell did they drop the puck on the 3rd goal
Love the retro stuff!
I miss the Legion of Doom era of the Flyers. Those boys just made it happen, and didn't look like they were tripping over themselves.
Modern flyers have come a long way recently, but they could take notes on the old guys that preceded them.
The good ole days on WB 17 🧡🖤🧡🖤
These jerseys should have been our alternate jerseys I'm sick of the 2017 stadium series jerseys being our alternate
Good grief Philly had a tough team that year. Needed better goaltending, though….
Lindros had 6 points actually, not seven but still, fun to watch the old days of the game. Seems almost slow compared to these days. Also, I think there was more hooking there that would get probly whistled away now. Not so visible in this recap though. Anyway, good old recap. 👍
1997-98 Red Wings clips please
I remember the Cup years and the Bullies. I remember the 1980's and Keenan's Killers. This group right here was special. They didn't produce a Cup but, being from Philly, that was not the only way to measure a team. Lindros was a one and done, generational player. Man I used to love watching him on the ice especially in the Spectrum. Anything can happen when 88 was on the ice. A big hit, a sick pass, a wrister from hell, a one-timer from the slot or a bully beat down. E-Train was my favorite Flyer of all. Nobody can go back and change what happened with the concussions and the stupidity of Bob Clarke. We can enjoy the time that we had Eric in his prime. That whole team was like a favorite sweater that you always wore
chris therien interview is just the most amazing thing ever… look at the Giants on the Ice. Legion of doom would hurt anyone in a wwe ring lol
I remember having a ‘legion of broom’ t-shirt after the wings swept them in the ‘97 finals. Good times.
These retro videos are wonderful, thanks for posting!
