This is the same kid the told Habs fans that he loves us and he hopes we love him one day.
Dude was more mature than 99.9% of people at the age of 18 and we never even noticed.

It’s really fun to see updates about him working on specific things and then seeing it directly translate into production on ice.
Keep going Juraj we love you

I will admit I was someone who did not love the pick on draft day, but man it’s easy to like this kid. Glad to see him having success on the ice.

Love his work ethic! It seems easy to fall into contempt after his last game, but he’s immediately out there again ahead of schedule improving his shot, love to see that!

I’m really happy to see Slaf have some quantifiable success, but in a sense I’m so mad at how people were quick to judge. For example, even if this sub was pro-slaf (or at least pro-patience) the whole time, it was generally taken for granted that Cooley was “in hindsight” the clearly better pick. Even like two weeks ago, there were still a lot of condescending comments like “yeah he’s gonna be good when he learns how to shoot”. Yeah, well he knew the whole time how to shoot, it’s just not as simple when you reach the highest level.

His personality/ drive is what’s going to seperate a pick like him and KK, dude wants to be the best
