Houston Toyota center this year started to put in an ice system in the stadium. They could be going to Texas.
Houston is one of the largest cities in the US, so it makes more sense to go there rather than Utah.

In 2011, the verdict date for the Atlanta Thrashers proved to be May 31st. I don't expect the League to remain silent on this situation until that same date.
The Coyotes ownership doesn't give a flying F if the NHL and the NHLPA are running out of patience! They have a deal to play at the Mullet until they have a new stadium and there is NOTHING the NHL or NHLPA or Elliott blow hard Friedman can do about it! Can't say the league didn't try to stay in Arizona,BUT, it looks likely they relocate to Salt Lake City in the near future ,quite possibly for the 24-25 season–my question is –do they stay the Coyotes or do we get a new name to go with a new town? Thanks for the update.

I think they're staying. I think Alex maruelo is going to pull through, they already have started geographical surveys on a plot of land near Scottsdale but closer to Phoenix
I keep thinking like what if Meruello tells the NHL to take a hike, and says well just keep giving me more time, so that the saga continues(as it has been) forever. Isn't there some provision in some NHL bylaw, that could terminate this franchise at a certain point if certain agreements are not met? This guy cannot go rogue forever.

If this team goes on the auction block, a gambling company is going to buy them up -Mark Cuban started that trend with Dallas mavericks. That should be conflict of interest.
