  1. They should change it to a one or two point touchback for the defensive team and then they punt it back to the offensive team.

  2. There is 3 times there should be an automatic review. 1. pass interference 2. roughing the passer or defenseless receiver 3. tackles after the whistle. The fumble in the endzone makes the League look stupid as hell.

  3. This rule always brings out casuals who think they know football and it’s hilarious every time

  4. Correct me if im wrong but Anywhere else on the field a forward fumble out of bounds goes back to the team that last
possessed the ball, at the spot of the fumble.. Seems it should be the same rule at the goal line (whatever the regular field of play rule is.

  5. "Whoever touched it last gets it at the place …." Is this guy really getting paid to talk about football?

  6. It's not a penalty to the offensive team. Almost ALL of the rules are different when the endzone is involved. It is what it is. A fumble through the endzone is pretty much the definition of a touchback. Section 38 is only one sentence long and it's VERY clear.

  7. fu@# the chiefs…it’s happened to many teams vs the chiefs and they gave no damn about it. it happens to chiefs now and rules need to be changed? lol.

  8. Hardman WAS DOWN, AND DIDN'T FUMBLE, AND THERE WASNT ENOUGH TO OVERTURN THE CORRECT ORIGINAL CALL OF NO FUMBLE, but the rule is correct

  9. I believe that the ball went off Buffalo then outta bounds. Wasn't enough evidence to over turn that play. Should have been first and goal for the Chiefs.

  10. Rule or Not. Im just glad it showed just how 💩 the Bills really are 😅bwe gave you one and you STILL blew it 😅 Go Kingdom 🟥⚔️🟨

  11. On the touch back play involving the Chiefs WR at the goal line. Yes he did fumble the ball and it did go through the endzone, but even on the television replay, you can CLEARLY see the Bills DT, #90 touch the football with his right hand about a half yard before the ball went in the endzone.

To my understanding of the NFL rules regarding touchbacks of that nature, if a player fumbles the ball through the endzone but a defensive player touch the ball before it breaks the plane of the goal line, the ball is then deemed down at the spot the defensive player touch the ball.

The referees and replay officials were focused more so if the WR fumbled the ball before he hit the ground versus looking to see that #90 touched the ball before it broke the plane. Had they done that, the Chiefs retain the ball at the 6" line and that game is practically over at that point….These people get paid alot of money to make correct calls and I couldn't believe they missed that or someone from NY didn't buzz in?

  12. Every Rule is different in regular field of play vs the end zone lol the fact that ppl keep using the “fumble goes out of bounds at the 30 yard line argument it goes back to the offense at the 30 yard line” argument blows my mind. if you catch a ball at the 1 yard line versus the end zone your awarded 6 pts, if you are tackled in your own end zone versus the 1 yard line you give 2 pts to the defense. etc etc
