This was painful to watch for Canucks fans…

The Vancouver Canucks get destroyed by the Boston Bruins 4-0. The whole team didn’t play well, Elias Pettersson, Quinn Hughes, JT Miller and Brock Boeser all struggled and it was tough to lose to the Bruins the way we did tonight.

  1. Nucks played so sloppy today, couldn't match or respect the pressure Boston put up against us. A loss was bound to happen, but we'll hopefully bounce back for our next strangely scheduled games. At least when we lose in this fashion nowadays, its an irregularity instead of expected like the last few seasons

  2. When vancouver's star players play bad.. they look like boys… I understand everyone has a bad game here or there.. but good teams like Boston or Vegas their star players don't make dumb plays and make themselves look like kids trying to play a hockey game.

  3. Sometimes this team starts squeezing their sticks in high profile matchups like this. They looked nervous right from the start and the Bruins took full advantage. Remember the Bruins had just lost the last two homes games so they were in a foul mood. Lets bank it and move on to the next one.

  4. Well…2 shorties; and 2 goals in 15 seconds to start the second. That, my friends, is what you call a turkey of a game! I would not mind so much if it wasn’t the Bruins!

  5. I understand the record and its only one Loss so i dont find us Losing a huge deal but what worries me is this is how playoffs will be like. This reminds me of our 2011 team where boston just bullied us into not playing well. Obviously i cant complain about this team after 1 game but this just really opened my eyes into how hard the playoffs will be for us.

  6. Canucks were team gapped. Simple as that. I see alot of comments on canucks social media say " oh we can't win them all" Bad losses to contending teams is really concerning especially when the top players are invisible.

  7. 3 years ago, it felt like this happened every week. If this is as bad as gets this year, I think we doing just fine. The sky is not falling.

  8. This is the best case of “it is what it is”. Boston was making good reads on their penalty kill while the canucks weren’t on their A-game.

  9. We like to call these type of games moligans cause that wasnt the number one canucks that we know theyll be at detroits neck on saturday

  10. Details and lackadaisical play buried them early. Just as their wins they'll review, make adjustments and move on to the next game.

Getting humbled is probably a more effective way to correct the issues than a close loss.

The Bruins were extremely motivated and switched on from puck drop after a bad loss to the Flames, Canucks came out flat.

  11. It's fine to lose like this, it happens.

Just sucks that it had to be against Boston lol
