I think all suspensions are too lenient since Parros took over but Gallagher’s hit is similar to McAvoy’s hit on Eckman Larson … which cost him 4 games.
Again the league uses the leafs as an example so they always get harsher punishments. Wouldn't be so bad if they just use the same punishment everywhere

This was also Gallagher's first suspension. What, did you just assume he was a thug? I'm not really sure I can see the difference between five for Gallagher and six for Spezza. Not without with my Leaf-coloured glasses on anyway.

There have been far worse hits than Gallagher's that got less than 5.
