  1. Wow. I’m a die hard Lightning fan and I’ve been dreading watching this video for 48 hours now. I have to say that was an awesome reverse hit from Lafreniere. I weep for Sergachev. When I heard he got carted off in his first game back from lower body injury I was gutted, but to find out he fractured both tibby and fibby is just so sad for him.

  2. My God!!! I can’t even imagine how insanely painful that would be…it was painful as hell to even watch!!! Gotta have sympathy for Sergachev if you have a heart!!!

  3. As a rangers fan, It is awful to see someone go down even if it is not a ranger player. So I wish Mikhail Sergachev the best. He just had surgery yesterday 2/8/24 so he is probably out for the rest of the season.

  4. So fuckin sad man. I hate tampa bay as much as the next leafs fan but you never wanna see this happen to anyone. The fact that it was his first game back after being out for 7 weeks and now he’ll miss the rest of the season… so unfair.

  5. Feel bad for sergachev but that hit by Alexis was completely normal.. that is just a brutal unfortunate way he went down.. ughh that sucks

  6. This is so painful to watch. I like to see opposing teams leave the Garden hurt in Sporting Terms. I won’t wish this on anyone. GET WELL SOON SERGACHEV

  7. There's a pucker factor to that one. Some people get squeamish about blood, but it's joints moving in ways they're not meant to that does it for me…ick.

  8. Such an awful injury and done for the season with two bad breaks.
    He went down so awkwardly.
He'll be back, better than ever.

  9. This wasn't a dirty hit was it? It didn't even look like it would have hurt under regular circumstances. Obviously something freak could have happened and caused a serious injury. Just saying it seemed like a normal hockey play?

  10. Valgus force with excessive forward tibial translation is a classic ACL mechanism, looked like a nasty one. Hope he can make a successful recovery and return

  11. Reminds me of Joe Theismann's career-ending injury–gruesome. I didn't watch that either. I hope this is no more than season-ending.
