Not surprising it took that long. USHL to NHL is too big of a jump. The USHL is an overrated league that is definitely not on par with major junior and is hardly better than the other junior A leagues. I’d even argue that some Canadian junior A teams are better than USHL teams. It’s an extremely overrated league.
