   You can’t really improve on how Quick has been playing so this is a surprise to me. I would have kept playing Quick until he had subpar game, then gone to Igor.

   On the one hand, I’m worried about Shesterkin’s confidence and I’m glad he’s getting a start tonight. On the other hand, if he loses to Chicago tonight his confidence may very well be gone for the rest of the season. His challenge now seems entirely mental.

    God it’s like half this sub is begging for a controversy! The more drama the better it seems. Do u guys not remember when raanta started like 4 straight games over Hank? It happens. Quick is great, he’s 38 years old and we can’t overuse him either. Root for your goalie tn he’s one of the best in the game.

    Perfect time to put Igor back in. On paper should be a fairly easy win, especially without Bedard (knock on wood). Build some confidence for Igor and give Quick a night off. Even though Quick is playing lights out, he’s still a bit too old to play (most) every game. 2 “easy” games next week too (knock on wood, again). I’d probably just play each one night next week.

    Going to both games next week, so it would be great to be able to see both play a game. I’ve never seen Quick play in person.

    Has had time to work out the kinks.

    Is probably pissed with the talk about making Quick the number one goalie.
