Well, I’m not buying tickets again until they’re in the playoffs. Miserable and pointless, saving the money.
This game was not lost by the call back on the penalty. They have no fucking idea what to do in the offensive zone. Endless cycling the puck on the perimeter which is usually followed by attempting a pass through multiple defenders, an unscreened shot from the point, or a shot that misses the net. I don’t know how the coaching staff is still employed.
I haven’t wanted to fire Granato yet but I’ve finally arrived. This team is an absolute joke and I’m done with caring. The players need to take a ton of heat as well. Where the hell has Tuch been? Thompson? Does anyone fucking care?

This team’s inability to create chances and score is unreal. I have no idea what happened between last season and this one, but I absolutely did not expect them to take so many steps back. It hurts even more with UPL playing consistently solid hockey.
That was tough to watch, like others, but as the season grinds on the rough ones compound upon each other. Besides a few I hope they have enough minutes on their cell phone plans for how hard they’re phoning it in.

if the sabres are still truly immune from being folded or moved as it stands today, how many lost seasons in a row would it take to change that? 20? 50? a hundred? i am convinced this org will never, ever be competitive again. if i’m right, how long can the accumulated inertia of past success hold out?
I felt stupid watching this game the entire 60 minutes. Almost no high-danger chances from the Sabres all game.
Since the Blues scored an own goal, I guess they outscored us 4 nothing.

This team just looks totally directionless. When was the last time we heard from Kevyn Adams about what the plan is? What are we doing here?

Same shit, different game. Nothing changes ever, the style of play, the game plan, the offensive approach..it’s the same every game. This team can barely score, your power play stays the same. Nothing new is implemented and none of the personnel changes. How many times can you lose, doing the exact same thing? At what point does the coach realize eh, maybe okposo on the first line & power play makes no sense. For the love of god, do something. Fight back, try something out of the box..literally anything but the same shit. This team is going to waste another good young group of talent because they won’t surround them with the proper players. Get rid of our entire 4th line, get rid of half of our defensemen, change something. If we trot out this same group next year it will be the same result.
You have to fire Donny. You have to. This ain’t it. I like the guy but it’s so obviously not working. Everyone except Jj and UPL have completely regressed.
They should be afraid to walk into the locker room.
Instead we will get a pr video of them clowning around at practice.

My kid’s went, had an awful time. They are 0 Wins out of 7 so far and my kids are 6 & 8 years old. The future of the organization won’t even have a following even this continues.

Granato firing is so overdue. What sort of message does it send to change nothing when the team looks the way they do—to the fanbase as well as the players? If we’re worried about rushing a coaching decision, literally name anyone not named Matt Ellis as interim coach and find a real coach in the off-season.

Guys, they were probably all just tired from that exhausting practice earlier this week. Granato is clearly working them too hard and needs to ease up!
