  1. Carter Hart convicted? No, that would have been an awfully fast trial. He has been charged with one count of sexual assault, but not convicted. You really should go out with a correction.

  2. Campbell is not going to Philly. Too big of a contract with them looking to sign TK to a long-term contract. Errson is fine in nets for the Flyers.

  3. And that trade is insanely lopsided in the Oilers favor. Campbell seems washed up and is 32 and Walker is a valued R-handed Dman and playing extremely well. Why would they take on a horrible contract and a player that the Oilers don't want, in return for Walker, who has way more value than you are implying. Ridiculous; the Flyers already have one veteran, marginal NHL goaltender in Cal Peterson, why on earth would they want another one and with a horrible contract.

  4. According to interviews on CBC and CTV, the London Ontario case will take up to at least…A YEAR!!!
Does the NHL allow the accused 5 to play during that time?….guilty or not, probably not.
So you have Carter Hart basically on ice (npo pun intended) for the next year and Soupy with much improved numbers in the AHL……If those are the pieces in play possibly….Remember, the Oilers have historically been a "second chance" place for players with issues to go to.
Not sure about the specifics, but Campbell going one way and Carter Hart going another isn't as crazy as some might think.

  5. It's a possibility but I think there would have to be a lot of bargaining and haggling to make the money work for both sides….. and I'm not entirely sure you even could. The Flyers do NOT want a $5M back-up for 3 years. And a back-up is what he'd be. Ersson is their goalie for now and they hope Sandstrom will be their goalie of the future so I don't really see much of a role for Campbell except as a back-up.

(BTW – It's highly unlikely you're going to pry Sandstrom out of their hands without paying a considerable price so I wouldn't be counting on that.)

  6. One thing people don’t get
It’s beneficial if the oilers trade campbel for THEM to eat some of the contract.
If they buy him out this summer they are stuck with 2.5 against cap and 6 year hit.
They eat 1-2 mil then it’s still better for them and much more palatable!

  7. I hope u don't start making up all kinds of possible trades that might happen but none of them ever do i know another guy who use to do that top shelf hockey was his channel and i found it so annoying that i stopped watching any video i come across that he had dropped for that reason boooo crappy content if trade info is nowhere near true lego booooo

  8. The Flyers are already overpaying a cap dump goalie in Peterson. Plus the Oilers don't have anything to give the Flyers to take him. A 1st is not enough. Walker and Sandstrom for Campbell makes ZERO sense for the Flyers when they can get value for Walker without taking on an AHL goalie with a big contract for 3 years. The Flyers don't have to gamble on Campbell getting himself together.
