It's not too often that you hear crosby criticize something or someone, and for him to say what he said about the refs call tonight tells me that they made a bad call.
NHL officiating sucks big time. It's time to call out incompetence every time. Another example of this is a non call in the Rangers/ Blackhawks game in which in OT session a missed call on the Rangers for tripping! It's frustrating and no one does anything to fix it the problem.
I can see missing a call like this in real time. The game is very fast. However w video review u can’t miss it if u have a good view. Sucks especially if ur team drastically needs these points to get into playoffs!!
officiating in the NHL sucks and is below any standard we expect to see…. officials should not be desiding games and more cameras are needed to be added to get every possible angle of the nets….and player safety needs to get more consistent in punishments as it is the good guys getting suspended and the goons run free…
Don’t be a sore loser, Sid, ESPECIALLY on THIS night when your supposed close friend is being honored! Just be happy for him for Christ’s sake rather than sitting there whining about bad calls and reviews. I understand you’re bummed that your team lost, but be a professional—and be a friend—and lose the negativity! Not impressed.
The league doesn't want multiple angles for every play. Or else they would have dozens more cameras in place. Or maybe they do have multiple angles but choose not to disclose them. Remember folks, sports is not an honest business as you think. Never has been, never will be. It's a business.
It hit the net. But the whole game they were on Pittsburgh side either calls or calls against us it was totally rigged. Fans were amazing but it did hit the net. Great game for both teams fought hard flower 🌸 went crazy! wild fan here
As a Wild fan, I can certainly understand Crosbys criticism of the call. It was a 7 minute plus delay… only then to be ruled inconclusive. It was a ridiculously long stoppage at the arena. Kindve erased the flow and excitement for the fans. Pens fans, I hope the Wild organization did you guys a solid by scheduling MAF day against his real team. Face it, no matter who Flower plays for, he’s always going to be remembered as a Penguin, with banana yellow pads and gloves. Perhaps the Wild will be his second favorite home. The State of Hockey is a term that describes this state’s passion for the game. I’ve gotta think that Minnesota and it’s outdoor rinks on every lake, pond or park makes him feel at home. Thanks for sharing him with us.
So.. are we just gonna ignore 20 seconds before his tap in goal he high stick clotheslined Faber in the face, forcing all of MN to gasp as our rookie franchise defenseman dropped to his elbows and knees?
