Day off but uh one game in the first five or six days was nice have that coming out of coming out of an All-Star break and still have so much time except that I mean I know the time is on the clock now because you couldn’t practice but considering how compact the schedule

Was in the first half you get this to open the second half yeah it’s practice time is nice uh you’ve talked to you know as coaches we we talk in the league quite a bit um and it’s always a topic of conversation how little time there is to

To grab your team and practice and um so so when you have you know what we just had we haven’t had a practice segment like that since training camp um it’s it’s nice very nice talking about on power yesterday what do you like about having Clifton with

Him uh it’s a it’s I mean Clifton’s a rugged player physical player he has a presence as a result um you know he not only can he hit he can reverse hit you know hit guys counter hit guys as they’re coming at him uh so he just you

Know he’s very well respected and I think that first of all that’s that’s one nice part to have someone with a presence physical presence paired with uh with Owen uh and then I think he’s just an easy guy to you know he’s got a lot of experience obviously from where

He’s come from and and how many years he’s spent in the league um and I think that’s uh and he’s a good communicator um so I think those are real nice attributes works hard practices I think they push each other each and every day

So uh lots of uh lots of good there um before they’re even they play and they and they’ve played well they’ve had chemistry together so that’s nice men Casey and Alex uh how Alex being a righty helps Casey just what else Works about that that tandem I mean what

Worked well late last year when Casey moved up between him and Jeff and just just what makes it has made it work well I guess yeah I’m not sure there’s there’s a lot of things I guess I shouldn’t say I’m not sure but there’s a lot of things you really just can’t

Explain there’s just good chemistry there they they enjoy uh and respect each other’s skill sets and I think they’re excited and motivated as a result um so you just see you see both of them you know they they you know when they’re together when you you shift them

Together you can see the excitement they both have and I think that carries into the play in their performance as well how do you build off the confidence or some of the a lot of the good things you did on Tuesday well I I think the confidence has been built before Tuesday

So I don’t think we have to build off Tuesday in that respect um you know I’ve said it um for about the last three four weeks now we’re in a different place psychologically um a much stronger psyche than uh at any point prior and I think that’s the difference um you know players

Feel better they’re they’ve uh been able to get rid of some of the mental baggage that they were carrying through the first part of the year and uh gain better Clarity on just how we need to play as a group as opposed to maybe concern individually you know where they
