Lost in all the discourse over the Greig/Rielly stuff at the end of the game, is that the Leafs have yet again managed to take another untimely loss to a bottom feeder team, where the goaltending and defence were no good, and the team overall looked like crap

Still hating the predictable dump and turnover style play the leafs use. They’re vulnerable to trap defense.
Your forwards will pinch off our puck carrier at the redline, he will dump it and your defensemen will retrieve the puck and will a) skate it up ice and cleanly enter the zone, or b) snipe a pass to the forwards still up at the redline and enter the zone on a 2 on 1
You can set your watch to it and I’m tired of watching these bag skate games. The leafs are skilled AF but seemingly only get to use that skill 25% of the time on successful dumps or when Willy says fuckit and does all the work himself to get the puck deep
Morgan Rielly did nothing wrong
Hockey is just the ultimate crybaby sport. Greig should know better than to hurt the empty nets feelings? Who cares if he took a slapshot with nobody around. Just win and this wouldn’t happen.
Big loser energy. Imagine complaining about the way the perpetually terrible little brother “rival” put the cherry on top of the biggest win of their season. Watch out guys, the Sens are only 16 games back of the wildcard.
Call me crazy but i think what Mo was just a fine, it wasnt too outlandish, and it also wasnt vicious. It would be rather harsh in comparison to what others have gotten if it is a suspension. Maybe 1 game?
You know, back when trading was allowed this would be a cause for a shake up, but since all you are allowed these days is to trade 1st or 2nd round picks for bottom pairing dman and 3rd line forwards we are kinda stuck in a rut.
I mean not that long ago Brian Burke would at least try to stir some things up, you don’t even have to give up parts of the core 4, but if Bertuzzi doesn’t fit as well as you thought get new pieces for him, do something. Salary cap killed the fun in roster turnovers.
