Ryan Lomberg, Panthers Postgame: Florida 4, Washington Capitals 2

The Panthers had their four-game winning streak end in a 2-1 loss to Philadelphia on Tuesday. Florida had also lost five of six at home before Thursday.

Against the Capitals, Matthew Tkachuk had a goal with two assists — but Ryan Lomberg won it with his first goal in 35 games late in the third.

Sam Reinhart continued his hot scoring streak with another power play goal; Eetu Luostarinen ended it with an empty-net goal.

Sergei Bobrovsky made 21 saves in the win.
