I thought the Ducks played well. Carried a lot of the play. Wasn’t a fan of the new lines. I thought it took away from our speed. Maybe I’m wrong. Not going to argue w 2pts. Good win for Picks.
If there is a game to mix up the lines and pairing to see how things go, this was it. Injuries will occur, Knob needs to see if players can play with others on the team.
Boggles my mind that after a 16 game winning streak and playing some of the best defensive hockey in decades that they would switch up the defensive pairings. It cost them 2 goals on the pk tonight and they struggled in their own end.
The more I listen to this coach the more I like him. I really like his demeaner, he seems to be steady and solid which is exactly what this team needs right now. The way he turned the Oilers season around speaks for itself.
You need video to figure out the pairings were a hot mess? "I don't think it was too drastic" so the knob is the kind of guy that can't admit when he screws up?
I don't believe we a goalie. Watching the other teams we all have little issues with goalies. The key is to play smarter offensively and defense. Team has to meld in which I believe is happening. This season is looking good
In the beginning I was getting really nervous that this Oilers game was headed for another loss. Pickard Kept the Oilers in the game. If it wasn’t for Pickard incredible performance in goal, Ducks would’ve won. Hats off to Pickard. The Oilers were way too sloppy in their D. This has got to change. We need 2 stay home defenseman through the trade deadline. Keep the blue line protected. Bouchard has been awful lately. Maybe Coffey can clean him up. Hats off to Kane who got a hat trick. Big forward line of Kane and Leon and Perry really helped. Hats off to McDavid who was the driving force to tie the game and then that amazing passes to Hyman and Leon Draisaitl . McDavid put the jets to tie the game 3-3…, and then that beautiful goal by. Draisaitl from McDavid pass. Wow!!! They have got to keep playing tough and keep winning.
