Don’t get me wrong I don’t think it’s a 5+ game suspension but it is pretty funny to see people all happy that the Leafs are playing physical.
Like c’mon Matthews and Marner stand there and do nothing while everyone else has to do it all for them, team isn’t changing. It doesn’t matter who steps up when the core 4 is on the ice they get bullied. Unfortunately our depth is so bad they have to be on the ice 2/3 of the game.

There is also this one from only a year ago which was 2 minutes only, and also after a Sens goal. Seems to happen to them alot.
It is also part of the reason why I hate Zegras. Preferential treatment, he threw a cross-check to the head of one of our guys a few games later too.

Just another day watching this glorious league as a leafs fan. A combination of two things in this play: a classic “fuck around and find out” hockey moment, and the league being extremely inconsistent and biased in their calls. I’m really not sure how we get gaslighted so hard over at the hockey and some other smaller subs – it still blows my mind. It would be an interesting case study cause time and time again clips like this directly PROVE how much bullshit happens to us, but the crazy thing is they are over there saying we are delusional.
