Demko doesn't have his stick and Washington player in the slot passes it, shoot the puck flat on the ice if a goalie doesn't have his stick.
Sloppy win. Should roll over the Caps. But a good for echeck effort by Petterson wins the game.
Canucks sure don't like those early eastern time starts! Good to grind out a win though.

As a Caps fan, I didn't realize this would be the end to an otherwise very satisfying game shown by both sides. Also, the fact that Ovi wasn't on the ice at all in OT worries me slightly that he might be injured but didn't want to leave the bench.

Awesome third period highlights
I expected the Canucks to win by a bigger margin but then again we almost lost to the Ducks after blowing them out the first two games
I've always felt Hoglander has top 6 forward skillset. Pretty sure Toch knows this too but is trying to coach Hogs in a way where he can get him to work for it. Hog is a very coachable player from what I've seen and responds well to challenges

Imagine if the weak makemelaughs ever had to play a morning game on a road trip, let alone 2. The schedule is always against us the worst of any team.
Both teams were on back to backs. They both played yesterday. It's good to see the Canucks get the win on the road. They have to be getting tired.
Feels like were treating demko like Luongo and I'm really hoping we start coming back to beginning of the year hockey and playing blow out games

Washington shut out Boston yesterday, and today they took the Canucks to overtime. 3 out of a possible 4 points from the top 2 teams in the league. The Capitals has played well the last couple games.
i guess the good news is even when the canucks are playing bad hockey, they're still earning points. not a lot of fun to watch tho, their turnovers and lack of attention to detail is frustrating.
