As a Flyer fan, I think they would have interest in the trade you propose….Laughton and Walker are both good solid vets and I think the Flyers would love to get Mittelstadt and a prospect and/or a first round pick. Walker has been really good and I would hate to see him go but they have Drysdale now and Laughton is a really good two way player but not a great scorer (although watch his PP rocket vs the Kraken) and the Flyers need a little more offense.

I would think the Sabres would want Seeler.
As Flyers fan this deal seems to make sense. Flyers know Walker is a valuable trade trip and less so Laughton. Midlestat looks like the type of center who would fit well with Mitchov when gets here as well.

I’m a Flyers fan and can say that would be a terrible overpay by The Sabers. Walker is a UFA, the teams that he benefits are those making playoffs runs this year. He would almost certainly test free agency in the summer. So for Sabers to give a 1st, plus Mittelstadt plus more would not make sense for them.
I don't expect to see Mitts get traded (unless he wants too much for contract), I would rather see Girgensons, Bryson, Jokiharu (he is young but doesn't think defensively for a Dman) E.Johnson, Olofsson, Comrie. I dont think Okposo will go anywhere but who knows. There isn't a single player the Sabres can bring in to correct this ship….unless its a coaching change. The coach has lost the locker room…plain and simple.

As a Sabre fan I'd classify this trade as a "#metoo" cause that would be rape.
Laughton and walker are both 29 yrs old. Mitts is only 25, a former 1st rnd pick himself, and on track for 70 points. So Philly would get a 1st line/2nd line center, AND a top center prospect, AND a 1st rounder AND a 2nd rounder.

A more reasonable trade IMO would be
To BUF -> S.Laughton, S.Walker, '24 1st rd pk (via Florida)
To PHI -> C.Mittelstadt, N.Ostund, Erik Johnson, '24 2nd round pk.
So Buffalo gets tougher and saves cap space next year… Philly gets a young, 70 pt center, and good center prospect, and a veteran D.
In exchange for the young forward and best player in the deal, Buffalo moves up in the '24 draft.
Sound fair?
