Def has nothing to do with Kesler and Wideman is also known for keeping his cool right?

There is a HUGE difference between giving someone a non-violent shove and getting your stick up ~~at full speed~~, into someone’s neck/head.

What’s up with the empty net hatred all of a sudden?

I see punches thrown in a display of poor sportsmanship.

I do not see any sticks being used to smash someone in the head. I do see sticks being dropped.

A few years ago as Gaudreau and Monahan were still with the Flames and Getzlaf and Keseler were still with the Ducks. Not a new thing but def an example of poor behavior by both teams.

🎶One of these things is not like the other🎶

The issue here is not “empty net slapper”, it is shooting into the net after the horn.

  7. That wasn’t even a shot, he casually hit the puck into the net like he was skating by one during warm ups.

  8. This I understand but a stick to the face is another story.

Wideman out there thinking Kesler was an official.

my boy getzlaf jumping right in there

Slap shot it in . Slide to the ice 🧊 into the goal 🥅 and Hump the ice inside the net . I’d like to see the other team’s reaction.

Seems to me like it’s just a thing that TJ Brodie’s teams do

  13. He gave him a bit of a bump. Shoulder on shoulder. He also had a chance to protect himself and he was on his feet after the bump.

Reilly blind side crosschecked a guy in the head(kind of side of the head kind of face) dropping him to the ice. No chance to defend himself.

Fuck around and find out. You clap bomb a empty netter you deserve to get dropped

First guy in gives him a little forearm to the head. Next guy in leaves his feet presumably to deliver another quick forearm shiver, then starts feeding him punches. Either way, this is the proper way the unwritten code should be handled. Not this gutless, sadistic cross checking bs we saw from Rielly. Two totally different examples of how player justice is metered out imo. Plus it’s Keslar, so anything goes. Gregg is just a rookie who doesn’t yet know about the unwritten rules. Keefe should show the Leafs this video until they learn how to properly and fairly beat up an opponent who breaks the code.

“No, you’re good.” Is you agreeing with the other person’s justifications… along with avoiding a simple question just to throw playground insults lol.

If you don’t understand this level of English you should seriously consider going back to middle school.

Wtf is Wideman doing going in there throwing like 10 uppercut while the guy is tied up by 3 other dudes. Wideman is absolutely not a tough guy at all, kind of a ridiculous response and I’m sure he’s going to regret it next time they meet up.

  18. 5 guys jumping him while one of them throws uppercuts is just as gutless.

  19. Yeah it was fucking stupid then to jump him and it’s still stupid now. Who woulda thunk

  20. Euphoric-Dig-2045

He just taaaaapped it in. Just, taaaaaaaap it in.

I love the copium around here trying to make it seem like what Reilly did wasn’t a shitty move

  22. BeerLeagueSnipes

2 problems. 1) Wasn’t the Maple Leafs. 2) Someone with at least half a brain would have been in the DoPS.

  23. BeerLeagueSnipes

The copium about how this was ok and Greig’s was not is hilarious.

  24. TurboRad54321

Is that Brodie? He’s a Leaf now. It’s all starting to make sense.

Hockey fan more than 50 years. Never heard of this “no slapper” at an EN. Played for almost 20.
