Why do you guys talk about what happened in the games step by step as if we didn’t watch the game. How about just talk about the issues, standings, trade rumors etc. I don’t understand why locked on podcast discuss every play of the game. Most of us already seen the game
I doubt they've called up Rempe to sit in the press box. He's a Calgary kid, so I'd expect to see him play his first NHL game in favor of Goodrow. Maybe Edstrom plays center again: Vesey-Edstrom-Rempe.
Hot Take: Between Rempe, Edstrom, and Mackey… The Rangers can find their grit and toughness for the bottom 6 and 7/8 th d-man and the only deadline need becomes that top line RW.
Igor played fine against Blackhawks all of the goals were from poor play in front of him on defense 1st goal he was screened 2nd goal Gus was not even tying up foligno at all and then a top in none of those are his fault
Also a hot take for the lines. Lol.
I’ve noticed a few times during changes on the fly, Brodzinski, Kreider, and Wheeler have got stuck on the ice together for short spurts, but have looked good in my opinion when caught on the ice together, the one time even generating that goal. So if you tried that line out and kept the second in tact, which they basically haven’t touched all year. That’d leave a line of Cullye, Zibanejad, and Kakko…. And that line seems intriguing to me. I’m really starting to think unlocking Kreids and Zib at 5v5, is to separate them for a bit.
I really don’t think there is a huge issue with Igor last year in reg season he also wasn’t like as amazing as year prior or in playoffs against devils I really notice the rangers play a lot more loose and worse defensively whenever he’s in net or for a ton of Igor’s starts

Hey Jon how about a review of our GM since he took over? we never discuss Drury who is equally responsible for how this group performs but we have yet to discuss his performance. Do you think he is doing a job so outstanding that he is above scrutiny? I mean he never does a press conference, ever. Are we the fans not entitled to a few questions? I would love to see Laffy on the PP but who sits? What in God's name is Wheeler doing on any Power Play? I would rather see Miller as a wing on that 2nd unit.
Also who is telling you the Mika Kreider is the first unit don’t you think if they do switch the PP up in this way they will start each unit alternating the starts just cuz the press puts it as the first pp unit first on paper doesn’t mean it’s the first unit that is gonna play the entire span and start every pp cuz I’m sure putting their best 5 v 5 line together on a line with kakko and Gus will start and play most of a pp 2 min just as much as the one with Mika Kreider they are clearly just keeping the top 6 forward lines together and mixing pp 2 guys on each which is fine and I also don’t think just cuz that’s how the press wrote them down in practice doesn’t mean fox won’t start with the panarin trocheck Laff pp
I believe the unit you are calling the “top” pp unit is actually the 2nd unit. The reason I believe that is because Bread is the best offensive player on the team and Tro is the best face off guy. By doing this I feel the pp time will be split more evenly but the Tro line will start. Let’s see.
