  1. Exactly. 2 points! You can see the pressure the Rangers are feeling and that's too bad. They are in 1st Pl. and should be happy and let the other teams feel the pressure. Go NYR!

  2. When win 4 in a row and 2 of those are Tampa and Colorado, you walk away smiling, nice to see Mika hit it too.

  3. They have to stop sitting back when they get up. Terrible that Chicago got back in this one..

I love Vallys no nonsense analysis.

  4. While I'm in agreement that A Win Is A Win, keep on with the good work, Steve Valiquette, in criticizing The Rangers. That's exactly what Management has to do & should be doing. Let me know what you think

  5. Not to take anything away at all away from Chicago, who is always trying to fight back in games, even though scoring in Chicago isn't readily available as Deep-Dish Pizza & Chicago has a good defensive game, The Rangers needed to play so much better than giving back a 3-1 lead, only to Win in OT. Let me know what you think

  6. Not encouraged that a 3-1 lead evaporated late in P3 vs one of the worst two teams in the NHL. But, NYR now have a four game win streak going back to MSG Monday vs Flames.

  7. If the goalies were rewarded for win-streaks, there wouldn't be any confusion. But scheduling goalies a month out- kills momentum. Rangers love to ice their hot goalies for some sort of 'fairness'. If you win, keep going. If you lose, sit and watch. Keep it simple.

  8. Players lay their bodies on the line night-after-night bruised and battered. Acting like a goalie can't play 10 straight games is asinine. Quick is a professional athlete, he gets paid to perform. Work him like an employee and not like his contract determines his ice time. JS. Igor is great, and Quick has 3!!! Stanley Cups…if Igor quit his diva bs and manned up like a war veteran, his stable emotions would make him perf. Plus, if he could learn one thing and one thing only from Quick, its that he's not to old to gain flexibility. I think if one could combine both goalies into one, he would be perfect.
