This franchise isn’t serious about rebuilding and awful at contending. It’s a terrible fan experience

“Why aren’t these prospects developing properly? They’re getting 7 whole minutes per game with Michael McCarron” – Preds, probably

That’s what happens when you have a stacked roster of Cole Smiths and Jeremy Lauzons.

What’s his take? He says the org needs to be patient with the prospects so they don’t come up underdeveloped and we can lose games and hopefully get a better pick. So we send some guys down who aren’t exactly blowing it up to marinate and now he is upset?

But this take says we should be bringing up all the young guys and fuck it. No patience.

Gallagher’s takes are inconsistent and as much as he says he “isn’t a fan” to keep his objectivity his opinions are as wild as the wind just like the rest of us.

I don’t even know what this franchise wants anymore, hopefully it’s at least calculated and we are embracing the tank

How else are you going to get Cole Smith on the 2nd line?

I think we should just stop drafting forwards in the first two rounds and only draft defenseman. The bottom 5 rounds can be forwards and goalies to fill out the Milwaukee roster. I know this probably sounds crazy, but I think it is the only way we are going to win a cup. We can outsource forward development and other teams will gladly take our defensemen because of our track record developing them.

Other teams ALWAYS need defensemen. We should wait until our defensemen have their highest possible value, like when they have a couple of years of NHL experience and they are 23 or 24 years old and we should trade them for young top six forwards.

It is so damn disappointing to see us do the same thing with every single forward we draft. We have to be the worst team at developing forwards in the entire league.
