  1. Yeah I would avoid any Russian players at this point unless they are already here. Actually due to the war in the Ukraine , maybe all Russian players should be exempted until after the war.

  2. he just is not as good overall as Carlsson, Fantilli or Bedard (as in aside from his goal scoring what is there compared to those 3). I would even argue Benson is the better player as well.

  3. I think with Michkov, he started to fall down the rankings once he signed in Russia until 2026. As well, I saw a tweet, which I agree with, that after Russia invaded Ukraine, Michkov became bad defensively and he had “character issues”

  4. Hopefully Michkov falls far enough for the Wild to draft him. Id love to see him and Kaprizov.

  5. If teams pass on Michkov, they will be kicking themselves once he erupts and becomes an absolute game breaker. He can get out of his contract. If there is a will there is a way.

  6. Also SKA is known for this, force young stars to sign long term deals so the team that draft his rights have to buy out his contract. Just a way for them to make money

  7. I would still pick him #2, I’d rather wait the 3 years for a kid with his potential then worry about who is nhl ready right now. You’re drafting for your future.

  8. I feel like whoever gets Michkov will have couple more years to get more top prospects in the upcoming drafts and will have a core to build around

  9. Vitamin D helps with your immune system way more then popular myth Vitamin C and orange is more less just sugar water that has very little difference from

  10. The Russian factor makes a big difference. There was always the KHL factor, but now with the war, who knows what the future will be.

  11. The Pens had to wait two years after drafting Malkin for him to come over. I don’t think they care all that much about the two years he missed

  12. We know what happened to Michkov. Russia invaded Ukraine and now we all hate/ignore everything Russian

  13. I really think that this situation makes only good for Michkov. Cause he will not face that wave of expectations. And he will get the opportunity to have a better team to develop

  14. Michkov was drafted by the Charlottetown Islanders in the CHL import draft and if he was able to play in the QMJHL he would be flying up boards and if he can next year he'll again be a top prospect.

  15. The Sharks aren’t picking this kid if he falls to number 4. I could see him landing in Arizona…worth the risk with all the prospects they have in their system. The Sharks can’t afford taking a chance on him.

  16. Poor michkov. Amazing talent being overshadowed by the contract. Hopefully he can escape the contract somehow
