  1. Of course the guy that can't play hockey asks for it to be less hockey and more violence. What an idiot

  2. He wasn't a fan of getting beaten by Xhekaj. Whined he got jumped even though he didn't. Supporting Grieg getting jumped though

  3. In general I think most suspensions are too short, so I hope Mo gets plenty of games – but I'm guessing 5–7 games.

  4. For me, there are two things he said that are right. A response was due, and a tap to the shoulder would be a very light response. However, Cross-Checking to the head (even if accidental) is different than dropping the gloves or something along those lines. So I would expect Rielly to do stuff differently next time. Maybe do a cross-check to the ribs, right? Because for the league, that is considered completely harmless and the other guy on the receiving end just "Fell on his own", correct? So try going by the rules that are applied against your team.

The other thing he said that I felt was right, is that the kid was completely fine, and what I think he meant with that, was that the suspension SHOULD take that into consideration. I don't think he meant that "as long as we don't hurt them it's fine", but rather he was discussing the extension of the suspension.

  5. Bad take. Beer leauge that guy leaves the arena with a black eye
 and more outside the arena.

NHL should solve this issue by enforcing it as an instigator then. Automatically 1 game suspension and game misconduct penalty then morgan shouldnt have to do what he did and get that punishments himself.

  6. Reaves is a goon. Always was. If anyone think he’s correct, they’re a goon too. Rielly threw a tantrum because he can’t handle losing. Plain and simple. No one should be defending that and everyone should be defending the incoming large suspension he’s going to receive. No room in the game for that. Hard disagree that a response was necessary. Take the loss like a man. This is a big rivalry and Grieg celebrated putting the game away. These soft ass players wouldn’t last a play in the NFL where every big play is celebrated

  7. The idiot has more TOM (time on mic) than he does TOI (time on ice). All he ever does is run his mouth, nobody is afraid of this guy because he doesn't do anything!

  8. People like Ryan Reaves are holding this sport back. Why the hell is it so hard to convince people that we shouldn't consider physical violence as an appropriate response to things you don't like?

  9. reaves is fun to follow cause hes such a meanie but lets be real- i dont wanna see anything like mike modano on a stretcher ever again. im ok with the fights as they are and the fights never stopped it only escalated the violence. he just wants it to not effect his team. like theres no reasonable person way to say that a slap shot into an empty net measures against crosschecking a persons face. you dont need to bring out the scale youre comparing a feather with a bowling ball. saying he deserves that cross to the face as if he didnt know he was insulting them- is just cope, very childish '"im mad cause i didnt win" cope.

  10. I don’t know why we can’t say both were in the wrong and that’s okay. “2 wrongs don’t make a right” Well when you do something you know your not supposed to do, someone is going to probably react in a way their not supposed to react. “his response was too far”
Like filling his face full of fists isn’t intent to injure. Obviously no one wants anyone to get hurt but unfortunately someone has to get hurt for a message to be sent. The message turns into the fear of if I do that again I could get hurt. Players just need to decide what they think is an unwritten rule or not. Riley obviously thinks that a clapper in an empty net is still an unwritten rule and the audience doesn’t really have a say. Until the players change their mind this will always happen.
