Detroit played really well for 40 minutes. But the 3rd period was the worst of the season. Detroit allowed Connor McDavid to register 6 assists, something he has never done, and the Oilers to score 5 in the 3rd alone, enroute to a 8-4 loss. It was brutal, especially in a night where they played so well through 2, and every other team in the playoff race seemingly won. Husso was hurt after the first goal, and man, we just feel for him. DeBrincat and Kane were buzzing, registering 2 goals and 1 assist combined. On to Vanouver. #lgrw

Husso had hurt feelings after that goal against and needed to run away. He knew how the night was going to go.
It's like they weren't even trying against the best first line on the planet, I also don't understand why we are deploying our offensive line against the Mcdavid line, why not deploy the stronger defensive line, what is Cat and Raymond gonna do for that shift
Here at 25:38 and Vancouver is now a must win? Not looking good if that's what's required. Expect more of what happened this last 3rd period, we obviously have no answer for a team like Edmonton.
This team is not making playoffs. They have 0 clue how to disrupt plays or play defense. They allow so many shots on goal. They play way to loose on defense and give opponents so much space and so much time to do whatever they want. They will miss playoffs folks. Again
After a great 2nd period, that we dominated, we come out in the 3rd, seider has a shocker and hangs on to the puck to long loses it in the corner which leads to a goal, and then the wheels fall off, hopefully this doesn't effect the rest of this road trip
They need to Take a Page out of the 80s playbook of the Pistons and come up with the McDavid rules.๐
