McDavid reinventing the Savardian spin-o-rama just wow!! Oilers are heating up the Oil for playoffs, after a 16 game win streak into allstar break picking right up where they left off. Looks like the coaching change was a major difference in the end. Oil, Jets, Canucks, western Canada keeping some hope alive. Its interesting how few season of poor ticket sales in Winnipeg and Vancounver somehow just magically transformed these teams into top of leauge teams…..gotta wonder what could happen if all of Canada just minimized hockey support for a season or 2 😉 go Canada go!! bring it home this year!!
Yzerman took this team out of the play-offs last year and traded away a fortune of talent just to assemble a team that refuses to back-check. No matter how good McDavid is, You are giving way too much credit to one man.
Yzerman needs to be a seller at the deadline. Detroit isn't ready for a run. Keep building. They sold the team down the road back in the day when they played the 25 year playoff run. Hollan sold the future for it. So glad Holland is gone. He was best at building a team with an open checkbook and no sal cap. A NASA chimp could build a team back in the day with no cap and the owners bank card.
