So this weekend you guys were able to get two out four points against but having two Le both kind CH uh yeah absolutely I mean anytime you have a lead and then you lose the lead it’s no fun um I think uh there’s a lot that we can take from it though moving
Forward um especially against a team like Syracuse they play a playoff Style hockey game anytime that we play them so being in games that you know are that close and that physical and you know mentally tough um it’s good to be a part of them
Now as opposed to later on in the season and in the playoffs so um yeah it’s like it it doesn’t feel good to uh to drop both of them but uh to come out with two points is you know you got got look at the Silver Line we got two two out of
Four points and we got keep moving forward you talk about play off games are you finding regardless of opponent that the games feel more play off team yeah uh absolutely and I think it’ll just it’ll keep going in that direction it’s seemingly it’s been doing that after uh Allstar break for every
Year I’ve played in the league uh teams are starting to get better defensively and uh points are points mean a lot now we only have 30 some odd games left and other teams only have maybe even less than that so um you know they these games
Mean mean a lot and uh it shows in compete level and and execution so a lot of go here over your time play leag L this weekend a few games e what you think this that yeah uh you know I love that he’s he’s a good kid um and he’s a great
Goenda hasn’t been said about him he’s he’s uh you know you feel confident knowing that you have a player like Devin backing you up um and you know hockey’s a game of mistakes and they do happen and and to have someone uh in net that you can put your
Confidence in that you know maybe he can bail you out a couple times and it’s a good feeling and uh yeah he’s he’s a great player you fun out there a line yeah absolutely uh I mean the lines have kind of been jumping around a little bit but uh you know I I
I I love playing with those two guys they’re uh such smart hockey players and um I like you saw on my goal on on Saturday I just went to the to the to the back post and Rusk made a great play and all I gota do is put my stick down
And he he puts it on my tape so um it is a lot of fun playing with those guys they’re they’re such intelligent hockey players and they work hard too so I think we uh think we cop them on each other may like 101 I mean specific what
Do they do like kind of allows you guys to have success and put you in positions yeah absolutely I mean obviously they’re they’re both they’re not you physically demanding their size and I think that’s what I help bring to the line you have two very fast very smart uh High hockey IQ
Players that seem to be always in the right position uh offensively defensively um whenever I get the pck I can trust that I’ll have some I’ll have an outlet somewhere um half the time I don’t even have to think about it I can and I can
Uh you know I know what kind of players they are I know where they like to be and and how they like to play the game so it takes it takes uh some of the thinking away from it for myself um and obviously having having
Those guys with such speed uh I can lay a puck to an area and seems like they just get to it a lot easier than other guys so this is going to be a pretty cha stretch starting Wednesday s games in 11 doesn’t sound easy you kind approach fory stretch
PR yeah uh I I don’t know you got to look at it you got to be excited we get to play a lot of hockey right um that’s what we love to do and you know it’ll be uh it might be it might be a little
Tough uh some of the days but you know we got a good locker room we got a good group um we got a great you know medical staff and training staff and I think we have prepared ourselves and put ourselves in a good position that you know whether you get some bumps and
Bruises or you know the legs are feeling a little tired that we have the resources to uh you know push those problems to the side and and just get through these seven games and hopefully come out on top
