I can live with him not wanting to call Kopi out. He's earned the respect to not be put under a media microscope, and there probably has been an injury there for some time. However… What I want to see is more of giving the minutes to players who are going (which he began last night), more of giving the situational responsibilities (PP, PK, OT, etc.) to players who are going, and with a team perspective, if you need to use Danault, Dubois, and Byfield up the middle for awhile, do that. And especially, when 11 comes into the office and tells you who his linemates need to be, tell him that's not his call. You don't have to drag him in the media, but you can't defer to him or put his place at the top of the hierarchy above performance, as every coach since Darryl has done. Good luck, Jim. It's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it.

What happened with Kopi last night -6 probably one of his worst games in recent memory.
He’s been absent for about 10 games, concerning.
Hiller is in a tough spot.
