The Medicine Hat Tigers defeated the T-Birds 8-5 Saturday at Canalta Centre. Andrej Kukuca had a hat trick and Henrik Rybinski and Conner Roulette each had a goal and an assist. Blake Lyda had 40 saves. Brett Kempt, James Hamblin and Dylan Plouffe each had two goals for the Tigers. Nick McCarry and Cole Sillinger each had a goal. Garin Bjorklund made 25 saves.
