Carolina played well, but fell short in a 4-2 loss to the Stars in Dallas. Jordan Staal scored once and added an assist. And, Pyotr Kochetkov played very well for the second straight game in making 18 saves. Unfortunately, defensive coverage mistakes cost the Hurricanes on all three goals. Jesper Fast had his 6th goal of the season as well. Staal’s goal, his 7th of the season, was his 11th career marker against the Stars in 31 games.

If were not going to think about trading KK or we can't due to obligations in the contract. I think he has to be put in the AHL for at least 3 games. Put a notice on his head and give him the assignment of making it back into the team
