  1. After best before date what is it with all media content creators looker for greener grass from other Side focus on in-house chemistry would be fracked if he comes in now

  2. he can play offense if he's on a 4th line with pius suter and mikheyev/lafferty. as long as we have enough PK guys without PDG or Aman in the lineup we're fine.

  3. Who do you take out of the current winning lineup to put Kessel in? If his weakness is his defence he doesn't belong on a Tochet team, isn't that why they traded Kuzmenko away?

  4. I predict Phil will be more effective than Kuzmenko was this season. I know Kuz is doing well over in Calgary, but something tells me Kessel will do what Tocchet wants and get more goals because of it.

  5. What Van is planning to do is have every line able to score. Why do you think the third line is so dominant right now. The opposing teams are trying to cover the 1st and 2nd line of the Canucks, you need good defenders for that. The third line is wide open and tough grindy players who can score. If you have your best defensive players shutting down the first two lines they can't be out against the third. Make the fourth line able to score, then what? You can't cover every line. I think this is the plan.

  6. What fix do they need!?, Tops in the league! This guy brings experience and 3 cups worth of it!

  7. If it was Johnny Toews it would be perferct.

But regardless, it’s a free player that costs them nothing. He’s a vibes guy that brings championship pedigree than get get the boys up or call them down as needed.

  8. Low cost high return worst thing that could happen is he gets scratched or sent to the minors like why would you not give him a try maybe he gets the 4th line some extra skill and some needed goals ngl Mikheyev has been non existent hes been good defensivly but like he gets paid to be a top6 guy so idk whats the play here

  9. the only thing phil will be fit for is a bag of chips and a hot dog. The guy cant keep up. Did he think he was going to come in without being in shape. The guy was gassed doing basic drills with the abbotsford team. They cant sign this guy he was done 2 years ago. hes not a fit and never will be.

  10. So the lines could be
    Pettersson Lindholm Kessel
    Suter Miller Boeser
    Joshua Blueger Garland
    DiGiuseppe Lafferty Mikheyev

    and Åman sits?
Does Kessel merit a chance on that top line? Is Mikheyev really a fourth liner? Is Suter really a top six guy? Why not try Mikheyev on the 2nd line? Why did DiGiuseppe get punted from the Miller line to the press box, and then the 4th line? These questions need answers, and soon. Also I think using Podkolzin instead of Kessel might be the correct choice, same price better fitness but without the baggage. The problem is they'll lose Åman to waivers if he gets sent down, kinda hamstrings us a little bit because you don't usually see sixth round picks develop into as good of Hockey players as he is.

  11. I stand by a different video where I commented that if we do sign Kessel, someone is getting traded because we would have too many wingers and I think D is still an issue or at least could be better. The best choice imo is Mikheyev. However, Kessel is not a 4th liner. I can see him slotting in the 2nd line with Miller and Boeser, demoting Suter to the 4th line (where he should be honestly) so that Hoglander stays with Petey and Lindholm and Mikheyev can still be on the 4th line keeping everyone in our lineup.
