The Colorado Avalanche and Tampa Bay Lightning still have some animosity towards one another ever since the Avs clinched the Stanley Cup on the Lightning ice back in 2022. So whenever these two teams meet up since then, it’s always entertaining.
For the Avalanche, they just want to get two points and end this terrible road trip with a win. For the Lightning, they have found themselves in a playoff spot battle and need the points just the same.
Then there is the Hart Trophy angle, where the two front runners, Nathan MacKinnon and Nikita Kucherov, will go head to head.

The Lightning couldn’t beat a legitimate team for a Stanley Cup 💪 GO AVS.
All this talk about Kucherov and MacKinnon Hart competition is pointless. McDavid will win the scoring race and the trophy. He is still easily the best player in the world. As far as the Avs chances against TB. One word: Vasilevsky.
