LIVE: NHL players from Canada’s 2018 world junior hockey team face sexual assault charges



Five players from Canada’s 2018 world junior team, four of them now NHL players, face sexual assault charges in London, Ontario. Michael McLeod and Cal Foote of the New Jersey Devils, Carter Hart of the Philadelphia Flyers, Dillon Dube of the Calgary Flames and former NHL player Alex Formenton, who is now with a team in Europe, are all on leave from their teams.

  1. She should be referred to as a complainant until someone is proven guilty… she’s not a “victim” yet.

  2. I'm not sure how there can be a 'victim' while the 'accused' are 'presumed innocent' until proven guilty, in a court of law. All seems odd to me!

  4. Police better prepare to get Kadri type dollars ready because the Chief says , she’s a victim.

  5. He looks like he's acting. And he's acting like they're 100% guilty. I guess presumption of innocence is beyond his comprehension.
