Love the way he answered the ques about the young athletes. He tried so hard not to call the kids punks…did a great job of it but yeah, bottom line, the kids today are just punks.
Sometimes I really think Torts doesn't hate talking to the media as much as he claims. I think he's way more into having "hockey conversations" like this media availability. The difference being when the media hounds him about stuff he doesn't want to talk about, that's when he gets upset. This interview and some recently really just seem like people having a conversation, rather than a coach being interviewed, and I'm really here for it.
Its so refreshing to have Torts here. I'm just ao happy that we finally have someone who isn't afraid to upset someone, tells the truth regardless. He's taken this team and made them whole again. I hope tortorella stays here in Philadelphia with us until he decides to hang it up and retire. I only have one criticism and its actually nothing to do with our guys…but can we please get the old black jerseys from the early 0's instead of the ones they have now that look like a license plate where their names are? Lol. Go flyers and go torts.
