How To Scoop the Puck Behind the Net ( Andrei Svechnikov )

Hey guys ! Here’s a quick tutorial on the PROPER and more effective way to scoop the pick behind the net and with speed. This way is much more effective and will have a better success rate. We have seen guys like Matthews try the “svechnikov scoop” and it hasn’t had much success. So give this way a try and let me know !

  1. What’s the flex rating on your stick to get it to bend like that? I’m guessing a 75?

  2. It works like that I’m fresh ice but when your stick is wet or the ice is already used a bunch your stick doesn’t grip it to put it back

  3. Unfortunately the Svechnikov way is faster, more deceptive and more dangerous. Yes much harder to pull off and it takes much more practice to develop the perfect touches to drag back and slice feel up on to the blade.

The way you just showed was not the Svechnikov way. It is definitely much more easier but it reveals too much, and you need much more space.

I love your videos but you have to understand the reason why the Svechnikov way is superior is because of the less time and space needed and its deception.
Above all it takes practice. 1 is much more harder to defend. Just my opinion.
