Waive Labanc if no one wants him. Also if Eklund sticks at C then Granlund is expendable, cant rationalize keeping 5 Cs capable of top 3 roles.
You mentioned that there is a roster freeze during the all-star break, but I googled for it, and I didn't find anything about that. Are you sure there is a roster freeze? On Reddit someone mentioned that there was even a trade once on the day of the all-star break involving the Panthers. Don't know which year.
Oki will be lost on waivers 100% if he goes back down imho, he's a future staple like the next Sergachev, I see the Thrunderstruck + 3 Russian LHD as the future left side of this team, Muki, Oki, Knizhov + Thrunado… if it was up to me, i'd send down Emberson… injured for a bit, playing horrible since he came back, lost confidence, least impressive D-man as of late and has lots to learn, plenty of upside/future stability but I doubt anyone would grab him based on his past 2 games anyways. Burrows/Rutta are way better options realistically right now, and Vlasic is hot lately old-school classic Pickles so could probably even play off-hand RHD too. Emberson is a #7 at the moment, so I don't see a team picking him up for the playoffs but I could be wrong!???
