This is a great example of the Canadian Domestic violence policies vs American.
If this happened in Canada this would be headed to court regardless of the victim refusing to testify. And I believe that is the proper way, obviously something happened and withdrawing charges when a victim won’t testify leads to intimidation. Especially in domestic issues.
But this happened in Boston so when she says she won’t cooperate. That’s it.

Innocent until proven guilty, and we can’t prove him guilty. It’s best we all move on from this. I hope he likes flipping burgers.
So either she lied/embellished what happened, or he’s intimidated her into silence. Unless he’s going to provide some sort of proof that he’s innocent then he will be considered guilty in the eyes of the public regardless of what actually happened.

I hope the Bruins have learned from the Mitchell Miller situation and terminate his contract. Lucic should not step foot onto the ice in the NHL ever again, or in professional hockey. I hope he understands he needs to just hang ‘em up and focus on getting himself better.
