Nobody including me thought Detroit would be in the position they are in. Its nice seeing them compete in the hardest division in the league however I don't think they have a playoff caliber team. They lack physicality and have no defensive depth especially in goaltending. Still shocked they haven't called up Edvinsson. He's been doing great in the AHL and they need all the help they can get.
Trade patrick kane. The rest of the team plays worse when he is in the lineup other than maybe his own linemates. He puts up points, but everyone else's production drops. Their goals against goes up when he is in the lineup. The shots allowed per game goes up. Lines get switched up and it doesn't help
Larkin might be a 1C but he's definitely not a 1#PP guy, I don't even like him on the second PP unit.
